Kids Krav Kickboxing

Kids Krav Kickboxing is an exciting, high energy sports program developing discipline, physical fitness, co-ordination and strong self-defence skills. Delivering a core program of combat sports skills and street defensive tactics, it provides young players with a no nonsense grounding in both striking (Muay Thai, Boxing, Krav Maga) and grappling (Brazilian Jui Jitsu, Judo) and is designed to build strong skill sets in preparation for the sporting competitive arena (Kickboxing/MMA) as well as the real-life situations we all hope our loved ones never face.

Kids Krav Kickboxing is ideal for girls and boys with class ages 9-16 years. All of our senior Instructional team promote responsible behaviour and appropriate use of practical skills. The Influence Fitness & Defence Centre is a independent training gym that will most certainly impress. Discounts are offered for second and third children and places are limited.

Kickboxing Muay Thai

Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defence, general fitness, or as a contact sport.

Kickboxing is a good fitness choice for those looking to burn calories for weight loss, or to improve stamina and heart health. Kickboxing is considered a low -or high-impact, high-intensity workout. Beginners are advised to begin slowly. Listen to your body and take water breaks when you need them.

Kickboxing involves aerobic and anaerobic exercise, both of which positively impact mood. It does this by increasing endorphins and producing changes in the part of the brain that can improve stress, anxiety, and depression.

Boxing is a combat sport in which two people wearing protective gloves and other protective equipment such as hand wraps and mouthguards, throw punches at each other for a predetermined amount of time in a boxing ring.

Boxing is a high impact cardio workout that offers a significant calorie burn. Cardio boxing workouts burn more calories than other types of cardiovascular exercise. A typical boxing session can burn up to 1000 calorie.

Ground Combatives / BJJ

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu “BJJ” is a sport that will give you a complete workout. You will work all your muscles,  your heart and your lungs. You will also feel your muscles aching, your skin toughening, your fingers getting stronger all while your body starts to adapt to the sport.

Brazilian Jiu-Jjitsu is a grappling based martial arts and combat sport based on grappling learning skills of ground fighting, controlling and resisting opponents in forcing submission holds.

Brazilian JiuJitsu focuses on getting an opponent to the ground in order to neutralize possible strength or size advantages through ground fighting techniques and submission holds involving joint-locks and chokeholds. On the ground, physical strength can be offset or enhanced through proper grappling techniques.

Brazilian JiuJitsu teaches you how to use your legs to control a stronger opponent and increases your flexibility to escape a difficult confrontation. Every time you train, you are challenged both mentally and physically. BJJ boosts your fitness and works for all body types.
